Ohhh at last someone on here who actually has a suggestion in the spirit of democracy that may make a difference rather than just b**ching about the situation and presuming its someone Else's responsibility.
The only problem I can see is getting enough people in this apathetic age to care enough to do it at the same time. If you managed to clog up just one jail it would get allot of heads turned. The most important thing is that the self sacrifice involved shows how seriously you feel about things and in history these have been the most effective protests.
Never underestimate the ability of a small group of like minded people to change the world, for indeed it is the only thing that ever does.

Everyone is entitled to questions... so don't worry if it is logical or not....
... The answer is definately no government can run a country without taxes....
... countries are kept and sustained when the people and government do their duties and fullfil their commitments... so we must pay taxes....
... now it is upon us as people to elect our representatives in governments who will make sure the money is spent as should be....
... also these representatives will guarantee that the country will live up and uphold the values the scoiety cherishes and lives by... thus ending bullying of us and other countries.

The government is responsible for a lot of common goods that the market cannot provide, such as welfare, health care, the police and a heap of others that are funded by taxes. Theoretically, a country might be run without taxpayers in the same way that theoretically communism works. Interesting to think about, though!

Don't be so vain to think that someone else's sacrifice must be seen and approved by you to be valid. Millions of people do millions of good things for each other daily. What is possible for one may be unthinkable for another - and it's not fair for you to judge them because you cannot know about their lives. Getting TV time doesn't mean much. Really helping someone does.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Your taxes are already paid before you see your paycheck. What we go through every year is just letting the IRS know how much they can keep and how much they have to give us back. Unless we haven't paid enough taxes.

The jails would shut down, numbskull, because taxpayers pay to keep them running.
Hey, "The Dude"... do you always go around ripping off Margaret Meade without attribution?
