I trained years ago on a manual typewriter so now am on a computer keyboard, my normal typing speed is 85 wpm, but can do bursts of 100wpm - if I'm rushed and trying to finish something.
I did go to college for 3 years to train though.

I have done 90 wpm on a keyboard - but probably three on a mobile phone!! The pad is too small.

About 55 wpm. I thought that was good too. I didn't think someone's hands could go much faster than that :)

mines about 40.
But i now use voice recognition ( the decent stuff - not the cheap products ) because of RSI and that's got me to full talking speed.
I guess its around 200 words per minute so far better than any typist.
I just talk as fast as i like and the computer keeps up - great !
