Which child was the worst one to give birth to? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.?

yes, I meant the 'hardest or most difficult' baby to give birth to. I didn't mean your worst child. Thanks.

Second baby was by far the more difficult. My first was only 5 lb. 7 oz. Total labor was 6 hours with 12 minutes of pushing. No meds. Minimal tearing. The second was 8 lb 4 oz. Total labor was 12 hours, 3 hours of pushing. Had an epidural. He ended up getting stuck and the forceps were needed resulting in nasty fourth degree tearing (all the way though). Had a killer headache for a week because of the epidural. Even with all that, I'd love to have a third. Hopefully that one would be better!

My first birth was the worst.... I had morning sickness the whole 9 months, and then the day before his due date they induced me. The pain was horrible, but the people in the delivery room werent my kind of people. I guess once your 10, you push there no matter if you feel like it or not. They didnt want to wait for my body to tell me. My second was alot nicer. They did what I wanted, I pushed when I had that urge, and the pain was miminal. The hospital had more of a family feel to it too.

All three of mine were so different. 1st I had spinal block, didn't feel the birth but afterpain was horrible and spinal fluid leaked out so I had a horrible headache. 2nd one was totally natural and it hurt really bad coming out but no afterpain, his head was sideways so all the labor was in my bladder. Both those labors were under 7 hours, start to finish.
My 3rd one, I had a shot of Nubain (sp?) but still felt everything. He was face up so all my labor was in my back. He'd had a bowel movement inside of me about a week before the delivery and we didn't know it so I had to hold his head out so the doctor could clean out his airway before he took a breathe.
He was the longest, I was in the hospital for over 24 hours before I had him and ended up induced. So I guess that leaves the last one as the worst but it was the easiest as far as the pain goes.

My first baby was the hardest as, I was so scared & didn't know what to expect & I was also in labour for 14 hours.
My second was much easier & I was calmer it only took 5 hours.

Each birth was so different!

The first was the longest labor and there was a bit of an element of the unknown since it was the first. The fact that it was long (about 18 hours) was difficult since I got tired.

The second was the shortest and most intense labor of the three. (Only 4 hours.) Since it was so short, it was fairly intense with the contractions coming hard and right on top of each other.

The third was definately the easiest. About 6 hours long. It was a home waterbirth with a fire in the fireplace. We cuddled in front of the fire on the sofa bed afterwards. It was relaxed and romantic.

My first for sure! His sholders were too broad to fit through the birth canal and he got stuck. Therefore # 2 had to be a c-section.

# 4 and #5 (twins). Baby A was sunny side up and caused a lot of pain and Baby B was breach and wreaked a lot of havoc. They say you forget the pain, and I did with my first 3, but not with these guys.
