Seems if I go in a GROCERY store it doesn't work but works in Target or BJ's or the like -- wierd!

I think they have some radio frequency running, maybe for the registers or for the wireless scanners and it interferrs with cell phones. I have limited reception, also in walgreens I have crappy reception

This is a really good question I have noticed this too. I think it might be something to do with theft and shoplifters/robbery. As I walk round sometimes you get a vague signal. I would love to know the answer to this too. Sorry that I don't know the answer.

because of all the metals in the cealing blocking the signal from the satilite i figured that out from my cell phone company
