Yes you can.

Ignore any textbook answers about when you ovulate and when you can get pregnant---our bodies haven't read those books LOL.
Plus, sperm don't have a 20 minute lifespan.:)

I know a 3 year old conceived on the day AFTER the last day of a period.

You can only get pregnant during ovulation. Ovulation occurs 10-16 days before the onset of your next period. Figure out how long your cycles are and when you expect your next period to start and then count back 16 days--you are most fertile. Not everyone has a 28 day cycle and not everyone ovulates on day 14 of their cycle.

You can always get pregnant if you're having sex. Some people are VERY irregular about when they ovulate. If you don't want to get pregnant you have to use birth control - ideally condoms so you don't get STDs.
