My mother buys groceries at the local food market. When the large chain store has good sales, we change and purchase food from them. Last summer we visited my uncle on his farm. Before we left for home he gave us two baskets of cantaloup, fresh green beans and field peas. My aunt added six jars of chow chow and blackberry preserves that she canned herself.
