So, I have this singing teacher. She is Russian, and she has a seventeen year old daughter.

Yesterday I asked her if her daughter sang. She said yes, but she sings only like in the shower and for fun. She also likes (to sing) the kind of music I do, which is classical and I also sing Russian, too.

So, my singing teacher tells me that she tells her daughter about me. And how I came to take lessons from her (the singing teacher). And how when I first started, I had this voice and ambition, but didn't know proper breathing techniques, and now I am "truley excellent", to her.

She also said that she thinks her daughter doesn't want to learn singing because her mom would be teaching it to her.

She also says that her daughter always asks how I am doing.

So, is it a good thing that my singing teacher talks about me to her daughter like this?

I think she would rather have you as her daughter! She sounds really nice, and she has great respect, care, thought, love, and....I don't know. She just likes you and cares about you a lot!

It could be considering it seems that the teacher is trying to motivate her daughter to want to sing better and trying to get her to trust that she (teacher) can teach her to sing. It also seems the daughter would rather take singing from some other teacher other than her mother and that is understandable. The mother is only being a mother to her daughter.

Sure it is. You're one of her best students and she wants to share that with her daughter and everyone. She probably sees a little of you in her when she sings. Dont worry its a good thing..

It has been my experience that anyone talking about you negative or positive is positive. If no one is talking about you that mean your not even worth mentioning, so if I were you I wouldn't even worry about wether is good or bad, because the fact that this woman is taking time out of her day to think about you so much that she has to mention you to her closest relative; that I say is a good thing no what she says, because it proves that you are important to her. . . .
