I really hate my job, it would be ok if the managers left me alone to do it but they are always on the phone to me asking me to do extra work or to say someone has been missed when they haven't or they have got the wrong person. I work in the community but it is not the job that I applied for. It was advatised as rehabilitation but in fact it is home care. I have to be today for 3 oclock but I really dont want to go back and I am not having much luck in finding another job. I have had loads of interviews but it is my lack of experance that keeps on letting me down.

1. Never quit one job until you have another.
2. While you are looking, take this attitude, "It all pays the same"
3. Never burn your bridges. You never know who you will work for in the future.

As much as you don't want to hear it, you have answered your own question. Sometimes we have to understand that it is called work for a reason. If we liked going all the time it would be called fun. If experience is holding you back on other interviews, why on earth would you leave a job before having another and lose any potential experience you would gain there? That makes no sense to me. Also as an adult, you have to learn to do things you don't like. Its called responsibility and leaving a job with no other job lined up and no source of income is not a very wise or intelligent decision. Put up with your job and make the most of it--we all do it everyday.

If its that bad, secure another job, then quit. Nothing quite as satisfying as "Take this job and shove it!" where its need to be applied.
If you don't have much luck finding another job. Best advice is to hang in there. Contront managers - supervisors about your concerns and keep at it till they respond.
Staying on the job is the only way to get experience. Its tuff, but life didn't come with guarantees. I hate my job too, but it pays the bills.
I owe, I owe.. .so off to work I go.....

Keep going and try to turn it around until you find something better.Talk to the managers and see if something can be done in a better way to make life better for everyone (never make it look as though it is for yourself) Something will turn up and then you will have good experience and something to tell prospective employers that is good about what you ahve doen at your present job

First, don't be a child and take ur responsibility for wht u r doing now.
Then try to understand wht you really want to do and how strong ur will is.
R u sure u'll be satisfied with that new one?
If the answer is YES - nobody will stop u and u'll get ur dream job :)

Our desires always come true if only our desires are strong enough!

Good luck!

If you really hate your current job, but have no other offers pending, you should stay on until you find better work. You could approach your adminid=strator and lodge a complaint. Keep it mild and non confrontational, just voice your problems or suck it up and stick it out till another job offer comes along.

Stick with it but keep applying for other stuff - at least then you'll have some experience which will help you find a better job.

Maybe have a word with a careers advisor who might be able to help you out with jazzing up your CV to make it more effective.
