RIGHT NOW JORDAN IS THE GREATEST SHOOTING GUARD OF ALL-TIME. TODAY THE ONLY PLAYER NEAR HIM IS KOBE.

It just shows you how much the world of sport has missed MJ's competitive spirit and his passion for the game. Comparing up and coming players to the Jordan Rules is just another way of calling him the gold standard in terms of excellence. Michael is the bench mark and the true definition of greatness from the way he handles the game to the way he carries himself off the court. That's not to say, any player can become the next Michael Jordan even though many have strive for that identity. That is just the league's way of saying, if you want to become the face of your franchise and maybe one day become the face of the league, you need to constantly push yourself to be the best and play the sport for the right reasons.

There are a lot of players that have Jordan qualities, but there isn't anybody that can totally compare to him. Kobe can defend like Jordan, and can score better than Jordan, but he doesn't lead his team like Jordan. D. Wade can score like Jordan, but doesn't defend like Jordan. Lebron is great, but he doesn't have the presence or the leadership, or the defense of Jordan. The same can be said for Vince Carter. Only Jordan can be compared to Jordan.

There is none.Michael was in a world of his own.On a game to game comparison you just can not.Arenas,Bryant,Iverson,Bosh,Redd,Nowiyski,Paul etc.....All are superstars today wait until someone dominates the NBA like Jordan and Bill Russell did earlier.Championships.They were leaders .Michael was probably the greatest player to ever step onto a basketball court.

Simply put you can't

The next time someone wins the Defensive player of the year award, and Leads the league in scoring in the same year, then you can compare MJ to that person
