I'm trying to get in touch with an old college friend, how can i do a people search free online? I've spent some time looking for him, but the only 'people search' sites i can find charge fees. Is it possible to perform any other type of search?

Try and see if your friend is listed on a social networking site, like Friendster, MySpace. Your college might have an online alumni network, or some way of contacting your friend, too. Last case: ask your friends to see if there were any mutual friends who are still in touch.

Use my space and if you can't find them look for friends in common and they might be on there. Then get in touch via them.
