Apparently one side of the brain works faster than the other so logically one eye sees something processes it on that side of the brain then the other eye sees it- maybe. So basically its transferring the infomation from one side of the brain to the other.
If like me you used to dream about stuff then It would happen years later- that kind of de ja vu is really strong and apprently means you're clairvoyant!!!

You're brain has both a receptive center and a memory. Normally when you see something, the information goes to your receptive center (you can see it) and then it stores the picture in your memory.
When you have a DejaVU (they mostely occur when you're tired) the brain makes a little mistake and sends it to the memory first and then to the receptive center. And that's why it seems like it already happened.

Im not sure but it happens to me a lot. At first i found it really confusing but now it's kinda cool.
