As soon as your baby starts the corresponding solids, he/she can also start drinking juice. When you're offering applesauce, you can also offer apple juice. Always use at least a 1:1 dilution with water. Avoid citrus-y fruits; they can irritate a baby's stomach.
Hope this helps! =)

All juice and fruits have acid, so its hard on a new babies tummy. Gerber makes juices specifically for babies that don't have to be watered down or anything. I would wait until baby is six months plus. If you buy regular juice, always water down half and half. I don't know why, but for some reason I opted not to give my daughter orange juice at all until now, and she's 18 months. I stuck with real fruit juices and apple juice. Good Luck.
ps cranberry juice helps prevent against bladder infections and clears their systems. prune juice makes them poop

Once the baby is eating solid foods, than you can introduce juice. I strongly suggest getting them use to drinking water before juice. That way hey will not get use to the extremely sweet juice that Gerber and beechnut makes! I also suggest giving them juice that is diluted with water. Also give it to them in a sippy cup.

As soon as they start eating baby food, instead of juice just give them fruit (pureed of course), I do not think juice from a bottle is good for their developing teeth, and the real fruit is better for them in the long run.
