Hi - she hs to be min age 16, I think this is the best idea as your body has pretty much stopped growing by then. How about getting her a fake belly button ring? Somewhere like Claires Accessories would sell them Im sure. :O) xx

it is illegal to have it done if your are under 16 BUT without adult consent bt u can hv it done any age with ur consent.
i would suggest around 14/15 i wouldn't hv it done now as it will attract more disease when younger with all the playing they do.
Also remember if you gonna let her hv it done make sure its in the 6 weeks holiday as in mst schools they make you take it out for pe n then it shall heal over!!
When older she shall be able to look after it herself as you have to clean it porperly to keep free from infection

hiya.. i have mine done too and i got it done when i was about in year 8 at school.. erm so i guess that would be about 12 or 13.. 8 is definately too young and she'll probably get bored of it before long.. and there's like a bit of a safety issue cos she's young she'll probably still play some silly/rough games at school or what ever so i'd wait until she grows up a bit x

It would depend on her level of personal hygiene. Will she be able to take care of the piercing herself - cleaning it up, applying creams etc.!!??
However, I do believe baring the above 16 is a good age.

I think by the law of the land you now have to be 16,unless you go to some back street guy, which i would advise you not to do.You have your reasons why you had it done, and no doubt it looks good to you and now your daughter. Why do people want to have all these piercing, beats me.

Don't do that to your daughter!!! She is still growing, as her skin stretches, it may cause it to tear, and then when she is an adult, if she changes her mind on a bb ring (which most people do change their minds on topics as they get older) she may resent you for allowing her to do that. I would make my daughter wait until she was 18 to do that, that way, she is an adult, she makes the decision, not you.
