Maggie and Lisa have to go! They're so annoying.. then again they're all kind of annoying at times, especially all the female charaters like helen lovejoy and maud flanders (i wouldn't bring her back)..
i'd bring back marvin monroe too, he's a spitting image of my old tech teacher!

Dr. Marvin Monroe for sure. If I had to kill off someone, I think it might be Gill. Disco Stu and Comic Book Guy need more airtime!

I'd think up an elaborate "who done it" plot to kill off every simpsons character each dying in the most cliched way according to their character (e.g. bart getting sprayed in the eyes by graffiti spray whilst riding his skate board into the school bus driven by otto).
Then at the very the camera homes in on a shady character sitting behind a desk and its Matt Groening with his pen/pencil of death.
(now back to reality)

Get rid of Flanders. He's a diddering, *sorry* flandering, dithering, useless idiot who is no use for anything!!! Instead of bringing back someone, create a new neighbour for Homer and Family.
