I have been to the doctor and he gave me a prescription to stop it and it doesn't. I am NOT pregnant - first because the doctor tested and second you can't be pregnant if you don't do anything. Anyway, I can't hardly eat anything and this has been going on for several days now. It is a very uncomfortable feeling...any ideas please. By the way I am 22, not overweight, and healthy otherwise.

You've already gotten fantastic answers! I stand by both natural remedies, and the advice to eat light, crackers, ginger ale, is pretty conventional good advice. The only think I'd add is that B-vitamins have been shown to help some too. I think the results would be minimal unless it's over a week or so, and I hope you'll be over this by then. But it might make for a good combination with the others. Give the vinegar a try! Get to feeling better! Nausea is the pitts!

First off your body might be too tired for such a work out. Usually feeling nauseated or dizzy during a workout means you need to stop because you are over exerting yourself. I usually don't workout as hard during the summer due to the fact that I work outside in the heat and at the end of the day my body is exhausted. Also your body may not be well nurished before your workout. Take a protien drink one hour to half an hour before your workout. This gives your body something to work with. Oh, and if you just started working out, start slow and with less until your body is ready for more. Im not sure if it makes a difference but I target areas instead of doing both upper and lower body workouts on the same day. As for running after your workout, I run before my workout as a warm up for my body.

Ginger ale is a pretty good remedy for nausea. You mau want to do a review of your diet. You may have an allergy to something that you eat regularly or something that you are eating is dissagreeing seriously with you. Try eliminating one regular food item a day.

I know it sounds weird, but something that has worked for me is organic apple cider vinegar. You can get it at Whole Foods or Central Market. Mix one teaspoon with about 8 oz of water. It may be hard to stomach at first, but it works wonders. Good luck!

Eat light.

Crackers or dry/plain toast may help....

Watered down tea....

Ginger ale....

Plain, non-spicey foods...

Skip greasy foods, including chips...

Avoid colas, pop, soda pop....

And if it doesn't stop, call your doctor back.

Remember: You can get pregnant without penetration if close to that "area".
