Political I think is the most important. Then with that it should lead to social.

I think both are equally important. In the old communist countries people had social freedom but no political freedom whatsoever and this allowed the governments of these countries to degenerate into dictatorships with an elite dictating to the rest of society how the country was run. In many capitalist countries, India for example, people have perfect political freedom but no social freedom. If you are born poor in these countries it is almost impossible to rise in social status. Even in the likes of the US or UK working class people have more chance of winning the lottery than making it big. This is one of the reasons why a large section of the population in these countries take no interest in politics as there is a widespread belief that politicians will always look after the rich. I believe that along with people being granted political freedom social barriers should be broken down to eradicate snobbery and allow a more socially equal society

In my opinion Social Freedom is more important. If I have the political freedom to speak my mind, but there is no social freedom to do so, what good is it? There may be no political freedom to speak my mind but if I find people willing to accept what I am saying I can change the political frame.
