Well depends on the company. Your question should have said, How do you use your mobile cell phone as a modem for your computer. I have mine with Sprint, using the PPC 6700. Only certain phones can be used as a modem. You have to check with your cell phone company. The data plan is $40. So I cut the home phone and the home phone internet service which ran about $35 a month. Then with my 10 percent discount it runs just one dollar more to go from 2kbps download to 40-100 kbps download.

get a wireless router and connect to your pc.

The router will show available connections in range- select mobile- done:p

expensive tho thru mobile and speeds will be very slow!

Pay £12 per month to get a 4MB connection like me- much better investment in both short and long term!
