no, i don't believe in magic. "wizards", if there really were any, were early-day scientists, although they may not have thought of themselves that way. they were probably doing "tricks" that we all could explain today, but hundreds of years ago it scared people and they believed (he) had magic powers

Well that depends on what kind of magic your talking about is it David Copperfield or Harry Potter one is slight of hand the other regretably is fiction one can be learned through time and practice the other well grab a stick and yell expecto patronum all you want nothing will happen.

Now as for real magic yes magic does exist just nothing like in the movies Wiccan magic if done correctly can work

For you Christians out there if there is no magic how did Moses part the red sea or bring 10 plagues on Egypt even the bible speaks of sorceror's remember when Moses threw down his staff and it became a snake well pharoah had magicians that were able to replicate the miracle so it's all symantics what one person might call a miracle another might call magic.

Real magick works by "natural means," so if you did magic for a car, it wouldn't just appear--THAT would be stage magic. Instead, if the spell works, you might learn that your neighbor is selling her ex-husband's car at a great price *and* that you're getting an income tax return for about that amount. Voila--car.

Ancient wizards could cast spells that used natural means, but they would also often "spice up" the presentation by using illusions, because the jazzier the magic, the more their audience would believe, and the more their audience believed, the stronger the (natural) magick. Make sense?

Piece of trivia: Poets/storytellers were sometimes considered magick users in ancient times, because they could create something out of nothing.

Although, it may seem that magic is real at times....I do not believe so. It all is just illusion. I give credit to those that can make us believe it's magic, or makes us wonder how they did that, but it is not real. Back when wizards would cast spells, I believe those were just old tales......and if anything did happen after a wizard cast a spell, he was just lucky that the spell he cast was of pure coincidence and was going to happen with life it self anyways.

Magick is real, 'magic tricks' are tricks, and people still cast spells today, but the effects tend to be more along the lines of personal change rather than altering the laws of physics.

Aleister Crowley defined magick as the 'Science and Art of causing change to occur in conformity with Will', and that's a rather apt and concise definiton. Dion Fortune tweaked it a bit to define magick as the 'art of causing changes in consciousness in conformity with the Will'. In this respect, yes, magick is very much alive.

The hand is quicker than the eye.
There is no such thing as magic, and if there was, it would be impossible for humans to control it .
And if it did appear as a natural phenomenon, who would be able to teach it to anyone, the only way people learn magic is by being taught and as you cannot be taught a naturally occurring phenomenon magic can't be real.

if you're looking for harry potter magic then i think no.but other magic yes.i'm not talking about tricks like Copperfield or card games, but real magic.i dunno about voodoo but binding someone and cause them harm it exists.i didn't believe it my self when it happened to someone close to me.plus card reading and coffee reading also works.i have tested it with a lady who said she knew how to tell me my future through the cards and coffee.she didn't know me at all and i was very carefull not to tell her anything by myself.and when she read them for me i was astounded!not only did she find about people in my life but situations also.and whoever will say that i lead my life just like she told me from the cards i ask you this:how come did she know about my past??things that only i knew.fears, hopes, actions, loves, sad things, peoples initials and appearances??so yes i believe that it exists.and it can both harm and do good.

Magic is totally authentic. regardless of the indisputable fact that it really is demonic. all and sundry who practices genuine magic has demons of their existence. there's a lot of magic books, yet a lot of them are not "authentic magic" I propose, in case you had a baby, you does not opt for them to play with fireplace, yet as a change they play with lighters and matchsticks. (with out lighting fixtures them) maximum individuals does compared to that. So regardless of if you're operating in the route of "pretend authentic" magic, it remains "pretending" to "play" with demons.
