Hey why are you making a fuss over a thingy which nobody even noticed. Why does it always become a big deal when a Hindu and Muslim tie the knot?

hi
i dont think so, i have been a fan of hrithiks ever since i saw him on screen...when i heard that he got married, my heart sank...it wasnt because of religion its because he is a icon and now he is married.. i live in SA and muslims wont change there religion for anyone including the person that they love... but hindus will. Muslims are a stronger than any other religion no matter what. I am not a muslim, i just tell it like it is.

What celebrities do does affect public opinion.
In good old days (sigh), what kings & queens & leaders & learned people did mattered. Their choices formed people's tolerance & behaviour.
Nowadays we look up to actors & other celebrities. Ok then.
Religion is just one aspect of the cultural background, so if two people can make each other happy, they should go for it regardless of their religious beliefs.
I hope that in the future, more couples will get married considering what a common life they are going to have, not just whether their confessions match.
Marriage is so much more than praying in the same fashion.

I think Shah Rukh Khan is a brilliant actor while Hrithik Roshan is an excellent dancer. Its very hard to decide....but I think I am going with SRK. He is the King Khan after all:)

Girls were broken hearted and boys were happy that now they wld stand a chance(before advent of John and Abby Baby,They spoilt everything)
I don't think that religion now has only obstruction in love. There are so many inter-caste marriages happening today that inter-religion marriages are not that far.People need to just be open-minded and realise that religions are their own making and it shld not be a barrier in relations.
As far as I remember,I don't think that any issue was created at that time.
people shld mind their own business and not interfere in others' relations. What Secularism and Right to Freedom is this??????

There are already marriages happening from different religions. So its not a big deal now for public but for the individual families its still a matter of social stigma.

i like the couple. hritik is hot n his wife is really cute.they look so much in love, all starry eyed. i think if ur love is true then matters like religion shouldn't come btw, n their families have accpted them so y should it bother any1 else. SRK n gauri have given a gr8 example..their marriage has survived...n thats a tough thing to expect in bollywood.

HELLO! wake up! this is 21st century!
religion does not matter!
i think the public was shocked when they got married because everybody was thinking that HRITHIK would marry AMISHA PATEL! but personally i think HRITHIK & SUZANNE are a perfect match!
