I love M-A-C Studio Fix - I also have combination skin, and "laugh lines" that many foundations tend to sink into. But Studio Fix works exactly the way I want! "Studio Fix is a powder and foundation in one that combines good coverage with ease of application. Designed to be used dry, the powder and pigments create a matte, velvety texture. It contains Silica, which helps to maintain a matte finish by absorbing oils on the skin, as well as Talc to provide a smoother, less reflective, matte finish. The talc has been milled to a microscopic size to provide a beautiful texture while allowing the skin to breathe. This product is long-wearing. It is available in a wide range of colours. It can be applied with a brush, sponge, or a powder puff."

My skin sounds exactly the same as yours. I am 35 and have always suffered break outs when using foundation. I have tried over 20 different brands at least. I have found that powder losely brushed on (with a GOOD brush) works better than foundation particularly now with the lines I have. Foundation just sinks into everything. Over the years I like the products by Marcelle, they are very light coverage, and offer a tinted spf. Wonderful oil free moisturizer too!

The key to good coverage is a good base to work on. First cleanse and exfoliate your skin, then apply the appropriate moisturiser for you skin type, only then should you apply a light reflecting foundation which will give a youthful glow. Lorelle have good foundations.

I would lean towards Sephora brand or maybe Bare essentials. I just started using B.E. and it ROCKS! No doubt - I love make-up and this allows u to adjust your own coverage - light to thick. Try also going to the store and asking for someone to help match it up. There's a good co. called "market america" that will match your own foundation just for u.
Hope this helps :)

Go to a Boots store they have No7 consultants who will find the perfect No7 foundation for you, and they're prices are reasonable they're an excellent brand and the quality of their makeup is great. Or you could go to a department store eg House of Frasier and have someone from one of the make-up areas eg a MAC consultant, a Clinique consultant, and you can ask them to find your perfect foundation from their range. Hope that helps
