i am in the same predicament I cant decide, but my mother has said that I would be better to wait until the new spring summer collection come out instead of picking from the present winter one. The one that I have decided is my favourite is the Urban Detour Pinnacle 3 (Khaki) it is very stylish and easy to transport and at the moment is down to £300 with the car seat included.
I will try and send you a copy of the picture, but I cant reply today as cant use the yahoo email at work.

We used the MOthercare Atlan travel system, which was only about £160. It was pushchair, carseat and carseat base, with rain cover and footmuff. Bargain! It was fab when my daughter was new, as the car seat fitted on to the pushchair - sooo easy to load and unload, and she was a little higher than a pushchair, and facing me. However, once we wanted to use the pushchair only, I found it a pain to adjust the seat, and it only had 3 postions, flat, nearly flat and bolt upright! It also only folds flat rather than umbrella folds, so there is no room in the boot for anything else! But it was cheap, very light, turned well and people always commented on it. When other mums push it they also always comment on how light it is.
Now my daughter is 6 months old and is less likely to be sleeping when I want to load/unload the car, I have opted for a McLaren Techno XT (£150) which I'm very happy with. This would have been suitable from birth, but I wanted to be able to put the car seat on the pushchair, which this doesn't do. But the seat adjusts much better, is even lighter, is taller which suits me and will theoretically last til the age of 4. The only drawback is that the shopping basket is quite small, and is difficult to get to if the seat is reclined.
Hope this helps, happy shopping!

I recommend the Inglesina pram, that turns into a pushchair when baby is older - it has all the rain protection covers, a metal base so you can carry a LOT of shopping, 4 big rubber tires - the lot. The baby can face you, or face forward. The hight of the bit where you hold the pushchair to push the baby (can't think of what it is called!) is adjustable to 3 levels, so it will suit you if you are short or tall. It has side pockets for things like your keys, baby milk etc. Mine is gray and red (but not a dull gray, a fashionable one), the wheels are white. It is overall metalic, therefore strong and will last you as many babies as you like. I didn't want one of those travel systems as the wheels are plastic and double wheels, and therefore a stone/ pebble gets stuck in it easily. Also, after a while the wheels become wonky. So all in all, this is one of those prams that your mum probably had, except it also becomes a pushchair. I got mine for £250, a bargain (a guy I know used to have a baby shop so gave me a discount), but the one identical to this is about £330 from mothercare. It is easy to assemble, comes in 2 parts, and the bit where the baby sits can be used instead of a moses basket in the early days, as it is detachable and has handles so you can carry the baby, just like a moses basket. The down side (to you anyway because of your requirements), is that it is not very light - not heavy either. I love it and know that as it is so well made and strong, my baby will be able to stay in it until he is older, and that our next baby will be in it too. Hope this helps.

I would recommend any of the Graco Travel Systems, other than the three wheelers. We bought the three wheeler and struggled to get in and out of shops with it. The majority of the time the doorways were too small for the pushchair. We ended up going out and buying our 2nd pushchair when our daughter was only 6 weeks old. We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System and it's amazing. You can fold it with one hand and the seat or tray never touch the floor. It has a child tray and a parent tray. It comes with the carry/car seat and isn't too bulky in the boot. Have put the link for Babies 'R' Us in the UK.

I have the graco quattro travel system (approx £230-250 for everything-car seat, pram cot, rain cover, footmuff, changing bag). I love it. it is v smooth and amazingly easy to steer. it also has a clock and tempreture gauge on it. and a v big shopping basket. I got it from 'babies r us'. I think it is funky looking and people have commented on how great it is. I think it was great value for money.
The only negative thing is that it is slightly heavy (but i found most prams are) and takes up alot of the boot (again, most push chairs do).
I depends on what your lifestyle is like. I like my pram as I am out walking quite a bit (both into town and country walks). I feel it is heavy duty enough to make my baby secure, but also very easy to manouvre in shops etc. If you will be using public transport, I would recomend a slightly less bulky pram such as the mama & papas pramette. All my friends who bought this pram love it. (It was beyond my budget).
Good Luck

I've bought a Graco one, but am not using it yet. It is lightweight and much smaller than a lot of travel systems out there. It also had the advantage of only being £180 which is a lot cheaper than some others.
Stay away from Bugaboo - total rip off!

A mamas and papas luna, it truly is obtainable in large hues and is holiday equipment compatible. it is likewise truly uncomplicated to fold and is designed to slot in the boot of small vehicles. The co-ordinating liners are attractive too!
