Hi
How do I get an Email address from my ISP? I'm with Wanadoo, do I just send them an Email (from another account e.g Yahoo) asking them to give me a new Email address, which I can use with Microsoft Office Outlook, or is there more to it than that?
I have just bought a brand new Packard Bell laptop, so I was assuming I would get an Email address straight away if I asked my ISP.
Thank you very much in advance.
Rachel

Most ISPs have a page that you can log into with your account logon ID and password and manage your e-mail addresses with. Call their tech support line and they'll help you out.

Hi Rachel
You should already have it. When you initially signed up with Wanadoo, you will have been asked to choose a username. This forms the first part of your email address. The second part will depend on when you signed up because Wanadoo is now in the hands of Orange. If you've been with them for a long time, it might even stretch back to freeserve, who were themselves bought up by Wanadoo.
The best way forward would be to have a chat with their Email Customer Services on 090 5050 5151; it's open 24/7 but costs 50p/min.

Why don't you use the one you have, you don't have to change addresses if you change computers, or just go to your IPS home page and create another address and pas word, you should be able to have 3 or 4 addresses or more
