English as a second language. What makes it easy is you aren't required to speak the primary language, because the intent is for the students to converse, read and write solely in English. I once applied to a program to teach in China, but backed out. Several friends did teach English ASL in China, but I note the ones who enjoyed the experience were my friends who were Chinese language students before they went over. I've also know several who were engaged as private tutors in Japan, where English ASL tutors draw the fattest paychecks.

I taught pre-school for a while. It was a lot of fun!! Arts and Crafts, storytime, recess, free-play.

I also taught a college course (just a weeks worth) while I was in college -- the teacher didn't know the computer program we were supposed to study. I knew the program quite well, so I taught the teacher and the other students the lessons that pertained to the program. Pitiful that the teacher didn't know the program....

All the time...I am a substitute teacher and I used to teach dancing, ballet, tap, etc. I think that high school kids are easier to teach. I don't like to teach Junior High school! Elementary school kids are way tooo busy! My favorite class to sub is Home Economic type classes, English or History would be next.

It was pretty easy to teach though, I taught it the way that I was taught!
