I was actually going to buy Peter Kay's Sound Of Laughter but now I come to think about it I think all those books you have mentioned are probably written by the same ghostwriter.
I usually get books from library or charity shops because I hate putting my hard earned money in those talentless Z lister's bank accounts.

Sometimes I think, when I begin a biography of someone, I think of them as some sort of perfect person. But then, when you read a biography, you realise that they are, in fact, just humans...who, just like everyone else make mistakes and have bits in their lives that they are not proud of. Maybe some of what they tried to say didn't translate well to the page. Or maybe, because a lot of them are not actually writers, it came across as arrogance...
I guess you still need to respect the person...just because you read the book doesn't mean that that is all there is to that person. That's my opinion anyway...but I know exactly what you mean.

I don't believe these celebs really wrote their autobiographies - they're all probably ghost-written. It seems a kind of fashion to write an autobiography these days, especially by people who are under 25. I read Leona from X-factor will be having one - who the hell is she? I thought you should wait till you're a bit older to write one...

Your opinion probably changes because to buy and read these celebrities stories in the first place you were probably a fan of some sort, therefore putting them on a pedestal. when you read a whole book of them the mystery disappears and you see them for what they are. Its like when your boyfriend feels its acceptable to fart in bed and a little bit of the mystery fades..... oh Farty McFart, how I hate you.
PS. If you feel like getting angry - read Geri Halliwell's - aaaarrrgggh

to no longer be mean yet, No. You sound such as you have themes. And together as all people has themes, you're making an argument of your themes. To me, it looks like your rather self-based. each and everything is approximately you. you do no longer say something approximately what you will desire to grant a pal.

Well, i suppose because they're *auto*biographies that there's a bit of...vanity there. I mean, these people think their lives are interesting enough that we should read all 500 pages of it.

You think that they are perfect but celeberties are people too. so when you see that they also have flaws you don't think so highly of them.
