There is a horse-drawn sleigh operating at Hidden Valley Ski Resort, but the ride is very short. This resort is near Pittsburgh, PA. The man operating the sleigh uses a pair of French horses which he explained to me were the next in line to the Clydesdales of German breed, in size. Here is some information:

Diversity Among Breeds of Horses

Draft Horse Clydesdales
Clydesdales are well noted for their white faces and leg markings as well as the bell-bottom effect created by the excessive feathering on their lower legs. Six to eight horse hitches are used for advertising a well-known beer brewery and other companies. The Clydesdale's long, springy stride, with extreme flexion of the knees and hocks, makes this horse ideal for ...

Draft Horse Percheron

This breed is primarily composed of black and gray horses, with some having white markings. Percherons lack the heavy feathering behind the fetlocks characteristic of most draft breeds. Percherons are light on their feet and have high knee action and a bold trot that makes them desirable for draft-horse shows. These are a heavy draft-horse breed that originated in the Perche region of France. ...

I was most impressed about how these horses pull together as a pair, and work with one another rather than in competition to accomplish their goal of pulling the sleigh.
