During my school years i have always been on and off with my friends. I like some of them but some are mean to me and then all of the sudden are nice to me (fake niceness). Now that i have finished school i havn't really contacted them because i'm sick of their behaiviour towards me. Have i done the right thing? Because now my best freind who is very naive isn't talking to me much probably because of this.

you are BY ALL MEANS doing the right thing dear..it's best to let go of relationships tht already dont mean much to u coz u've already seen thru th fakeness of ur school friends.They arn't worth it. i always believe tht friends are best measured by quality n not quantity! as regards to ur best pal...Try n talk it out with her. maybe we have a commuincation gap here. BUT if she still doesn't understand then i suggest u let go of her as well. I know that sounds bad but dont jus overlook her mistake because she's ur "best friend" an u love her so much. She maybe naive at the moment but if she's that good a friend then she'll understand ur thoughts n ur standpoint. All the best!!

I stay in contact with very few of my school friends. You'll get to a point eventually where you'll make better friendships with other people as you begin to break away from that crowd.
I'd have a think about which of your friends you like and may be stay in contact with them every now and then and ditch the rest. You don't need that crap!

same thing 4 me u'll find new friends i've been out of high school for 4 years and i dont even talk to them anymore and i got a new group of friends never stay in contact with fake people

if they are really mean, of course not staying in contact with them is the right thing. on the other hand, what's happening between you and your best friend might be because of you not staying in contact with your other "mean" friends.
you might also want toat least confront her with it... at least to be sure right?
and for your "mean" friends, you may have times that you enjoy being with them and besides they are just for your social needs
if really can't stand them anymore, drop them all and find better friends...
ps: friends are not stable don't be afraid to leave them if needed

you have to speak with your best friend. this person didn't get the title of "best" without earning it, right? explain your anxieties. give her time to think about your conversation.
as for your other friends, keeping in contact with them is entirely up to you. if they really are unagreeable, then, i advise you to at least tell them why. they'll just keep on assuming the worst until you confront them.
go step by step. if need be, go to your parents for help. then again.. i hardly hear my friends running to mom and dad immediately.. go to someone you trust. if the matters get worse i suggest you turn to your parents.

You have to do what is comfortable for you, and makes you happy. It's not an issue of right or wrong. True friends are to be cherished, and perhaps you haven't had one yet. Don't stress over it!

i think your doing the right thing. but if you want you can just use them to have nights ut if your bored. but dont think like your really gonna give them a chance. just be fake towards them as well.
