The symptoms are varied. Some women (like my wife) have almost none while others get hit with morning sickness, breast tenderness, and fatigue before they even miss their period. It varies from woman to woman.

My breasts were enlarged & sore right from conceiving before my missed period - came on earlier than PMT would have done & also they just seemed different somehow to how they are normally before my period - my partner noticed it too. I also had a twinge one day around conception down below. Then nothing until missed period except on the day my period was due I had a very calm & knowing feeling & when the test said positive those first few moments alone in the bathroom I felt like somehow I'd known it was going to be. After that I got bad heartburn/nausea feeling all the time. Was fine on empty stomache but as soon as I ate I had to keep eating to make heartburn subside. Also got very tired, dropped off to sleep in a bout one second wherever I put my head down!

Um, I have never been pregnant, but I have friends (many now) who are mothers. (and they are VERY young) Anyway, the first symptom and this ALMOST always happens, is that your period is either missed completely, or late by a week or so (although, if you are someoen who is always late, then this might be a problem to tell) another thing is that the breasts begin to enlarge, and becomes very sensitive (sort of like when you are about to menstruate, but the pain doesnt go and it does slightly start to swell) also, your areolas might darken and become bigger. Then, you start feeling cramps, but not the natural cramps u get when you are about to menstruate, it'll feel differnet (I think, at least tahts waht i've been told) i think maybe its a bit sharper, i'm not sure. These are the signs that might almost happen within the first month. Also, your weight will jump around, first you lose weight, then u start gaining weight. And finally, you also begin to urinate alot. The morning sickness, well i dont thin kthat is within the first month, but I'm not sure, my friends didn't tell me about that part. (I think its later on near the middle/end of the pregnancy). Hope this helped!

There are many ways to tell if you pregnant. I would say the first one is a missed period (for normal menstrual cycles). The others may be that you feel nauseated, headaches, dizziness, moody, sore nipples, or extra hungry.

Not all woman experience these symptoms but the best thing to do is take a pregnancy test ASAP because if you are pregnant you need to know how far along you are.

I got dizzy spells & didn't enjoy food as much. I felt a bit off as if i may be getting the flu or something. I also got period pains that continued well after my period was due. Morning sickness started at 4 weeks & my jeans got tight at about 6 weeks.

I had heartburn and sore boobs before I had even missed my period. Morning sickness can start at any stage (I had mine weeks 9>13). Another symptom is implantation bleeding (like a very light period). I also remember feeling quite tired.

With my first child the very first symptom I got was sickness. With my second I got a metallic taste that lasted for maybe one month. It tasted as though I was sucking a coin. Symptoms are different for each person and can be so slight that they arent really noticeable, especailly if you dont know what youre looking for!!!!

Obviously, the very first sign is a missed period. A few days after your missed period, your breasts will feel very tender and somewhat sore to the touch. You may start to feel unexplained fatigue and constipation.
