i use democracy player. It downloads stuff from all those video sites, plus video feeds (like diggnation, ask a ninja, and other shows.) Everything downloads into the player into organized channels and then i can watch it all full screen and it automatically deletes in a few days.

So yes i use that alot more than i watch tv. I watch photoshop tutorials, pentagon channel stuff, tech stuff, and music videos. Plus NO COMMERCIALS!!!.

I hardly watch any TV whatsoever. I don't even know what YouTube is...so much for their marketing plan.

But this is saying oh so very little. The only time I spend on the net even is when I'm either researching something (I call it harvesting), maybe checking my email (very infrequently because I figure if you want to reach me you'll actually do it) and in circumstances like this - where I'm waiting for my next appointment to show and basically am bored silly.

The answer is no. Youtube is not a tv like streaming. Its a free video clip sharing site. You cannot expect the level of entertainment given from TV broadcasting then youtube sharing.
