1. Consume a lot of caffeine. Preferably energy drinks like red bull, and a lot of coffee regularly.
2. Make sure to eat at intervals regularly to keep yourself awake
3. Keep a constant level of physical activity. Anything from running to basketball to even walking around will do the trick.
4. Scream at yourself now and then, lol. That worked for me.
5. It is good to have friends around to help you so that you do things with them and so they keep you active.
6. Don't do anything that doesnt require a lot of mental or physical enrergy, like watching TV or reading simple books.
7. Don't wear yourself out too much with excercise. If you are tired of doing exercise but dont want to sleep, try playing video games. Especially shooters and things like that keep you awake a long time
8. Whatever you do, dont lay down, and dont close your eyes for an extended period. Once you do that, you're screwed
9. If you run out of things to do, try counting the number of bricks in a wall, or something mentally active, you should do this every five minutes or so, to refreshen your mind
10. Keep an ever changing sound going, such as music, but make sure its not the same thing because you will fall asleep to it

You can read something very very interesting like books about Harry Potter (sorry, If you dislike him, but that's just an example) or yuo can drink pepsi with coffee. The result is ok.
Or, go to sleep and in several hours sleep again till the morining, if you fear to loose your sense of something, I don't know regime, maybe.

Keep busy - don't watch television or read books, they'll send you to sleep! Try exercising? Or stay on here and answer lots of questions! Good luck :P

Do not consume alot of sugar. It will only work temporarily and cause you to crash hard. Caffeine...keep busy...try not to be sitting doing nothing for long periods. You could also multitask to make it.
