Could he be a legitimate N.F.L. quarterback? Better than Daunte Culpepper? Byron Leftwich? Worst than these two? Or will a team move him to tight-end?

Look folks...he is black and he is Quarterbck get use to it. Quarterbacks make the most money in the NFL and he deserve to get paid. Put Brady Quinn as a tight end or wide receiver. Put USC Quarterback as wide receiver. Get with it slavery is over.
The age of the small soup up quarterback is over. YOu have to be big and strong with a powerful arm to see over defenders., JaMarcus can see over the defenders and he can throw the length of the field. Bradshaw says that he can throw 50 yards sitting down. I think Vince Young got some serious competition. The only problem that Russel has and that willl be fixed before the combine. He needs to firm and get tight. He must be eating too many Mc Donald's betweem classes. HIS spped will hone with his arm and he will be a contender in silver and black next year. AFC will be a monster.

JaMarcus will be the first QB taken in the draft. I said this at the beginning of the year and I definitely believe it now. There is no chance of him moving to tight-end, that's ridicules. I have watched him play since is junior year of high school and he personifies the prototypical NFL QB. The only thing that tends to hurt JaMarcus is his intelligences. He ain't no brain surgeon but the kid can throw the hell out of a football.

its hard to determine as transitioning into the QB position in the NFL
takes time depending on what team he lands on. He has size and arm strength that many teams will look at. There is no doubt that he will be given a shot I just hope he is implemented in a good offensive system.

I think he could be a legit QB. He has a lot of pressure coming in to the NFL right now, since there are a lot of rookies out there and they are getting some big spotlights.
As a Brady Quinn fan though, I am happy to think that Russell played so well that he just locked himself up the first pick in the draft and he'll go to the Raiders. Unforunately for either Russell or Quinn, the Raiders are aren't looking too good right now and one of the two of them will be expected to come in quick and strong.

You dont move an arm like that to TE. A wise man once said.
"He can throw a football 40 yards sittin down."
another wise man once said
"If you go outside and throw a football 40 yards right now, you wont be able to see cause its dark out"
wait Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long said both those...by wise i ment mentally challenged.

He is a big guy with a rocket arm... reminds me alot of Steve Mcnair in college... I hope he stays one more year at LSU and takes them back to the Championship.. then gets the # 1 pick in 2008..

The guy looks like he has down-syndrome. I wouldn't write him off as a great QB cause he put it to ND.
