There are many uncommon pets. But some of the more common, uncommon pets based on my experience are:
--rabbits
--ferrets
--hedgehogs
--chinchillas
--pigs
--lizards/snakes/reptiles
--tarantulas
--horses
--degus
--sugar glider
--exotic birds
--saltwater fish
The link attached is a small poll about what uncommon pet suits you best.

Wallaby! My sister-in-law has one. I had one too but a dog got to her :(. But once we get a large enough peace of property and a proper fence, I'll be getting more of them. I have already decided on a dog free life.
I think Ferrets, Cats, and Wallabies will make a nice set of pets to own.

you're able to evaluate such animals as tarantulas, scorpions, some lizards. Hermit crabs are quite standard. additionally, small birds could make great pets. i want to propose a cockatiel. they're inexpensive and can be hysterical. merely confirm in case you get one you don't get one from a puppy shop, yet from a breeder, and confirm it is been hand fed. stable success.

My grandma used to have a few (descented) skunks as pets. One was an albino. I bet you don't hear of pet skunks a lot, but, apparently, they make excellent pets.
