Iam Egyptian and live in Egypt, I have got a Bachelor in Social Work from Egypt and want to make my master degree in university of north carolina,addmission requirments told me that i have to get 3.0 GPA (on 4.0 point scale).
so how can i get it?

You need to speak with your home university. They should have some way of indicating your grades in English which can be put on a transcript that you will submit to UNC. If your school doesn't give a GPA, UNC will figure it out. You need about a B average. Of course, UNC will take into consideration the level of difficulty of your university (a B-average at Harvard is stronger than a B-average at some unknown school in Ethiopia, for example) when assessing your GPA.

They "translate" your scores. If you apply as a foreigner, you have different requirements to meet.
