The only thing I can think of is that your admin settings are not set up to allow any more computers to connect to your network, you will need to go to your network control panel by opening an internet browser, and typing - 192.168.0.1, then change the settings in the wireless tab to allow more than one computer to connect to the wireless connection.

If that doesn't work then it could be that your Livebox is acting as a Modem AND a Router, then you may have to make some hardware changes, the problem may be that your Wireless card/Wireless USB dongle in your Laptop - may not be compatible with the Orange Livebox.

Try this - connect a wireless router to your Livebox and making the Livebox act as a Modem, and then connect your laptop to the router that you just added, you should now be able to connect.

If that doesn't work then phone Orange! Good luck!

I had the same problem - then in the installation instructions for the PC (I had none for the mac, mind you) I found that you have to put the livebox in the registration mode for it to register with your computer. You have to press the REG button on the bottom of the livebox, THEN enter the password. It will be accepted - the livebox will be in the registration mode for a minute or two, then it'll revert to the ordinary mode and you'll be connected...
Hope this is helpful to you...

Look for a MAC filter setting -- this lists MAC addresses of computers that are allowed to connect.
