ha. I see you have a sense of humor. No, Mormons don't practice polygamy, and those who still do aren't Mormons.

Mormons no longer practise polygamy. You can now get kicked out of the Church for that, you know. Please, before you say wild things like that, read the facts.
WHY do people make a big deal out of the idea of a Mormon president. No one cares if they are Catholic, or Protestant or Baptist, but everyone makes a fuss over the idea of a Mormon President! WHY? Our morals are not much different from that of other faiths!

As others have stated, your question made me laugh. As you probably know polygamy hasn't been a practice of the church for nearly 150 years, and anyone who participates in it cannot be a member. It is not only against the Mormon teachings, but against the law (and Mormons value upholding the law).

No.
But that brings up the question, what if a president divorces the First Lady and marries a second time? Is the second wife a second First Lady, or the first Second Lady? And what if he divorces his second wife and marries another? Is she the Third Lady, or the third First Lady?

No, of course not. That's illegal for one thing (president... law... some connection there...) And you get kicked out of the church for polygamy anyway. And I agree with whoever complained that it isn't fair... if someone please would explain why everyone doesn't want an LDS president but they don't care if he's Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Protestant, etc... We're just MORE value oriented, how can that be a bad thing?

That was funny...
Any Mormon in good standing with the church does not practice polygamy. If they did, they would be excommunicated.
But thanks for asking.
