Take computer science and/or electrical engineering classes in high school and as majors in college. Apply for internships to major computer firms during the summer breaks. Job experience is VERY important.

you have to take an mpc stream.
after write your standardized test.no questions will be related to computers.as per your result sapply to university.
r u interested in computers
`1.year they teach u languages like c or java and information on comp peripherals
2 .about operarting system and databases
3.about microprocessors,uml,unix,ai
4network security,sftware engg,vlsi,mobiler computing
so think again the future is good ,2 much competation though

Any engineering degree involves years of University. I suggest you follow a path that will grant you that opportunity.

Enrol yourself in B.Tech or B.E Computer Science course in some reputed college in ur place...simple....

you should join computer schools whereby you will access a lot of tutorials that may enable you learn computer mechanics and finally engineering.
