As long as I remember I always liked to stay up late. For some reason I need to force myself to go to bed at night. I have no trouble sleeping. And I'm not overworked. I just like to be up at night and do things. I work for myself so I don't need to get up at any special time. Sometimes I won't go to bed until my eyes won't stay open and my head starts falling over. Like right now... it's 2:18 AM. It seems like I SHOULD be in bed. But I don't WANT to go. I have too much fun at night... working on projects... surfing the web... etc etc. Does anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Gee...I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! Exactly!!!
People have said that people like us stay up at night because night time is typically free time for most people. No responsibilities....everyone else is sleeping. They say we like it because we can do what we want without feeling bothered or guilty that we should be doing something else. I am pretty old and I have not been able to change.....I modified it when forced to by a job and children...but left to my own devises I would and do go to bed at dawn most days. It wouldn't bother me at all except I catch heck from everyone...like I am a strange alien species. I've alway liked late afternoon to around 4 or 5 in the AM best. Oh well, I just can't seem to change my inner clock. I've been like this all my life. Good luck to you but if you feel good....don't worry about it. All my fretting and others fuming has never changed a thing for me. I will admit that I have had a lot of responsibilities in my life and night time brings peace and quiet. I can relax and do things I enjoy!!! Have fun!

I do. It is 5:30AM and I feel tired, yet I have no desire to sleep. I want to stay up on the internet, or playing guitar. I normally only get around 4 hours of sleep each day. Which sucks, but eh I like doing things while its dark. I guess I'm a vampire lol.

Yep, it's 5:03 a.m here and even though I'm probably going to bed soon, I prefer staying up during the night. It's calmer, more relaxing and while some people may thrive on sunlight, I thrive on moonlight.
