Should there still be a tie between the two competing teams at the end of the regular period and succeeding overtimes, both teams will continue on playing until there is a winner.
The NBA record for most overtime games featured the Seattle Supersonics who played on for 5 overtime periods.

There's no limit to the amount of overtimes you can have in basketball. They'll play 'til there's a winner, even it takes two, three, four OT's or more. There has been as many as six in a game.

They keep doing overtimes until some1 wins.... my brother told me tha this baseball team vs another baseball team or football...idk had to play all day to win. They probably had like 20 OTs
