Why do 9/11 CONSPIRACY theorists think they know more than the 9/11 Commission's Report?

I think it is because they are either ignorant or have a political agenda against President Bush.

The 9/11 report was bi-partisan and accurate. If anything, the report puts more blame on Clinton but doesn't even come close to accusations by the left-winged radicals.

Conspiracy theorists will discount anything by the government because they believe that the government is in on it.
All the witnesses testimonies have to be taken out of context to make their "truth" be real.
The will ingore the experts in the fields of construction over that of 1 professor who couldn't get his own engineer school to sign off on his theory.

The also will believe 1 Frenchman who wasn't even there over that of the 175+ eyewitnesses.

Everytime you nail them on a point they will change their story or "facts" to avoid the truth.

The Proffessor who taught at UW Madison, WI said "There has NEVER been a radical Islamic attack ANYWHERE at ANYTIME it was all done by the CIA"

These are flaks you are dealing with.

Truth is always the first casualty. People that are predisposed to this type of thinking will never accept the truth if it doesn't point in the direction which they deem it must. You could take most of these people turn back time to 9/11/01, stand them in front of the Pentagon to watch the crash firsthand and they would still deny it. Frankly it is just not worth wasting time on because truth is not in their lexicon. The evidence of this is in how they ignore eye witness testimony, distort facts and basically start humming la la la in their heads to drown out anyone who makes too much sense for their conspiracy to overcome.

The 747 that blew up over Lockerbie filled 5 hangers, the one that hit the pentagon filled what, a shoebox??

1.) I don't believe what is spoonfed to me, by anyone. I will not simply "take anyone's word for it" on any issue. I need to find out all aspects of all things I question, and see if anything "breaks" what "works" (akin to my love for beta-testing software... I can be told "this works fine", but if you tell me that, I'll find 100 ways to break it).

2.) The 9/11 Commissions Report left a lot of questions unanswered, particularly dealing with building #7.

3.) On official flight lists, there are ZERO passenger names of Arabic origin. They are all Indo-European names, and the identities of those passengers are all accounted for... they did not use a fake ID to get on the plane (meaning they *snuck* on the plane). Even before 9/11, I couldn't get on a plane without showing every shred of ID I own, plus showing my ticket at least twice, if not three times.

4.) Specs : Other buildings with similiar constructions to WTC have suffered massive infernos, and did not have a catastropic failure. The WTC was designed to withstand a 707 crashing into it with a full payload of fuel (about 30,000 lbs)... the fuel in the 767s were less than 10,000 after having spent much time in the air already.

5.) The passport and the black boxes... how can a paper passport survive (something that'd be destroyed in a matter of minutes if left too close to a candle or the stove), and 4 black boxes (made of the most impermeable substances, with the most protective techniques known to man) not?

6.) The identities of the hijackers. How did they find out who these 11 people were so quickly? Why were they so quick to point the finger at Osama bin Laden?

Yet for two years after that article, we keep seeing movies of bin Laden, each looking considerably different from the long-faced, long-nosed, sullen face of the known terrorist... bin Laden the "pudgy" and bin Laden the "bulky". Does a person with failing kidneys go and pump iron or add weight while hiding in desert caves? No, they become ever increasingly thinner and weaker.

8.) The national focus shifting to Iraq. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. I believe it was either 11 or 13 other countries (I forget which now) told the US that Iraq did NOT have chemical weapons, and a handful of them told the US that the weapons had been moved to Syria... but did the US listen?? NooOOOooo....

9.) The unnerving way the last bits of the central core of tower two collapsed into dust even after everything else fell. I would think it would merely tip over or remain standing, but that too became dust, even with no upper weight to pulverise it.

10.) Extremely uncanny timing of insurance policies, fire drills, emergency drills, renovation of the fireproofing, and removal of bomb-detection all immediately preceding the attacks.

11.) The recordings of the firemen rescuing people in the areas near the site of impact, implying there were only minor fires that'd barely be a challenge to put out.

12.) The confiscation of most, if not nearly all, phone calls by the deceased, as well as CCTV recordings of what happened at the Pentagon (note, that out of at least 4 different videos, only two have been released to the public).

13.) The rarely shown footage of WTC 7 on public media, either of the front or the back views prior, during, or post collapse.

14.) During the time when all flights were grounded, a single plane flew in the skies near my home: on it was members of bin Laden's family. The government has never responded to any of the state's media's questions about it.

15.) Uncanny similiarities to the Reichstag fire... it brings up a quote by Ben Franklin, "Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither". Germans believed Hitler when he pointed the finger at the Communists... and Americans believed Bush when he pointed the finger at the Muslims.

16.) I hate to use something that's becoming cliche, but in the government report "Rebuilding America's Defenses" (written in 2000), it mentions that a "new Pearl Harbor" would have to happen for the American people to be willing to allow increases in military spending. And look what happened. I believe even Dan Rather (or one of the other major reporters, I can't remember who now... it's on YouTube somewhere), while watching the towers collapse, mentions that it's like a new Pearl Harbor. If that report was written in the early 90's, I'd have been skeptical about any similiarities. In the 80's, I'd feel it have had no relevance other than mere coincidence. But the fact that it was written one year prior to 9/11 makes me seriously concerned.

17.) "A New World Order" - Bush Sr. spoke about a New World Order, and it has come to pass through his son. We are no longer the same America we once were. People are being arrested for citing their constitutional rights, asking questions at government press conferences, and demonstrating. We are ever under the curtain of "War on Terror". Biometrics are placing our very physical identities, and writing them down as a series of numbers within computer systems. We are being chipped, GPS-ready, and inoculated with mercury-containing vaccines (btw- mercury poisoning killed the first emporer of China... do you really want that in *your* system?), all for the sake of being able to live our lives in complacency. We are forced to watch what we say, because God forbid you ever speak the words "bomb" or "blast" in conjunction with a major place or person in the same sentence over the phone, lest you face Jose Padilla's fate. Listen to any speech by any governmental higher-up, and you'll see just how much of a change we've gone through since 9/11.

I really could go on and on... but if I did, I'd take up more space than I have allotted. Oh, and btw, I am not a left-wing radical. I prayed for Bush to win the election... but I did not expect him to win the way he did. But then again, Kerry wouldn't have been any better... after all, they're both of the same bloodline, and both Skull and Bones members. So, in truth, I stand as one of the many who classify themselves "none of the above".
