my parents weren't too thrilled with the idea, his parents have always left him to himself so they really didn't care. it lasted eight years.
my parents didn't have either of their parents being very happy about it and they have been married for over thirty years, they have also been married twice as 'i have been a study of horses' was, once till death do they part and once for time and all eternity (it's a church thing). i also married my husband like that, but not all things last like they should.
i don't think that how your parents feel really matters, as always a marriage is up to who is in it. my grandparents love my father to bits, and my dad's side, well they will just have to get over themselves.........

I was married only with my parental consent but I cannot say how long my marriage lasted. It can be any time between a day and 32 years.. We were living toogether for 32 long years but can that be called 'a marriage.'

I have been married twice to the same person for forty years. Our marriage is fascinating. There is never a day goes by that we don't express our love for each other. She is my best friend and confidant. The first time we where married was until death do us part. The second time was for time and all eternity.

I did. But now my marriage is at stake. The girl I married is not a bad person. But the problem is we are just too different. The family culture is also too different. Me and my wife are fighting since we married..the last two years. Now, not only us, two families are on fire. Burining....
