Blu-Ray is a CD that alows you to watch movies in HD. You know how you watch normal TV in HD? Well, Thats what Blu-Ray does for your DVD. It also holds much more storage space. Here is a website that can help. http://www.blu-ray.com/info/

It's an optical disc format that's currently competing with HD-DVD. A single layer blu-ray holds 25gb of information, while a double layered one holds 50gb.

Phillips, Sony, and Apple are the blu-ray's proponents, while Microsoft and Toshiba back the HD-DVD

it is a high definition dvd, or dvd player. you must have a high definition tv, and a bluray player, as well as a special blu-ray dvd. if you already have a high def tv, then i would recommend getting a ps3, because they play blu-ray discs, and come with one.(you should buy full auto 2 battlelines to play on it)
