I heard that various people are having "007" parties this January, to celebrate the new year and also as a clever play on words (James Bond's number, 007).

Besides showing the movies on video in the background (none of which have I actually ever seen), is there any way one could "theme" their 007 party, James Bond wise? Or, clever things regarding the number 7? Thoughts?

1. Have a small bar setup which features "Martini, shaken, not stirred."

2. Everyone wears costume of tux/eveningwear, bad guy attire, or Female lead outfit.

3. Everyone tries to bring a clever gadget

4. Have some tables set up with cards, chips, maybe even a roulette wheel.

5. Put together a soundtrack with famous bond themes.

6. Decor your place with fake pistols, automatic weapons, gizmos, car props

7. coctail napkins featuring different bonds, or saying 007 on them.

8. Party game with DVD with clips of different movies, allow people to guess the bond, guess the movie. Or a contest to see who can put all the bond movies in the correct order the fastest, or name the most Bond villians.

you should do something 50's-looking, like audrey hepburn. OR... if found this: Bond Girls You just can't talk about James Bond costume ideas without talking about the Bond girls. While the bikinis abound (the white bikini worn by Ursula Andress in Dr. No remains one of the most iconic costumes in film history), popular "girls" have worn all sorts of memorable costumes. Pilot Pussy Galore of Goldfinger is a fan favorite. Either an orange or black jumpsuit, combined with flight goggles and cap, will turn you into this powerful lady. Live and Let Die's Solitaire is not so deadly, but a standard 1970s low-cut gown and a deck of Tarot cards easily comprises this costume. Replicating the look of one of the most famous Bond girls – doomed Goldfinger secretary Jill Masterson – is easy with a fitted gold jumpsuit. Add some gold temporary hair dye and you're set. If you both wear vintage ski suits, you can be Tracy Di Vicenzo from On Her Majesty's Secret Service. A sari will make you Octopussy, especially if your James wears an alligator over his suit. When in doubt, there isn't a single Bond girl who does not wear evening dress at some point in a film, so dressing to the nines, perhaps with a gun strapped to your thigh, will usually do the trick.

Hi there,
You can also play the soundtracks of any Bond Movie (get couple of CDs to choose from),Girls must wear what Bond girls wear in the movie (sexy glittery gowns), Boys too!!! :) (must wear tux), caviar and champagne (if you can afford them???), what about going for "Diamonds are forever" theme??? you can wear and decorate your place with fake diamonds (shwarofsky crystals can do the job really well?!) about the number 007, you can give your guests a piece of paper with numbers(from 001-0030 or 0040 )depending on how many of your friends will show up and then call them by their numbers to participate in any game !!! or do a silly gifts draw at the end of your party and don't forget the plastic black guns ;) they are essential!!!! GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN :)

Have a contest to see who comes up with the best original name that sounds dirty. All of the evil women in Bond flicks have names like "P u S S y Galore" and other weird stuff like that.

Bring lots of BMWs and smash them to various objects. You could also try exploding the kitchen...
