America found him as a great danger to its interest in the Middle East. After the Kwait invasion, Saddam was under scanner. The prospect of Saddam joining hands with Osama, in the future must have a given nightmare to America. Osama could not be caught. Saddam was an easy catch. Hence, Saddam's fall.

Everyone knows why Saddam was executed, except the Americans! Poor things! They are the prisoners of their media. They gulp down everything given by their print and electronic media. Hollywood helps them to boost their ego. Pity!

Saddam was not a saint, but we oppose the way he was treated and hanged. It is not fit for a nation which claims to be the protector of freedom and equality all over the world.

Saddam was a heritage of world because He was only answer of dadagiri of america. If he left alive surely he would be president of Iraq again. so the selfish politician of Iraq and Oilhunter America did this for only benefit.
And President Bush have taken revenge agst Saddam. Bush's Father died leaving behind a dream of iraqi oil.

I am against capital punishment.
BUT, the crimes Mr. Saddam committed warranted highest possible punishment, in case of Iraq its execution.
Problem is not only execution, it is "timing of execution"

America wanted his execution and had it achieved - when you have money & muscle power, you need not find a reason to fulfil your desire - leave about good reason. Probably that is the lesson we should learn from the episode.

Can you people stop asking questions about Saddam execution he is Dead caput,morto,muerto gone. The good reason is leave dead people alone no matter how bad they were!

The whole world knows Saddam used mustard gas killing 50,000+ Kurds. Mustard gas is WMD, it's chemical warfare.

A good reason is that he was found guilty in an international court and was thus punished according to those laws.
However, that doesn't make it right.

He was tried, convicted and setenced to death by his own people for crimes against these same people. I cannot think of any better reason than that. I for one feel justice has been served in this matter.
