I work with my best guy friend. He is very flirty and is always saying "you are sexy" or "you are beautiful" and he will whistle jokingly, ask me why I don't have a boyfriend "because you are so beautiful..." He is always grabbing my legs, arms and shoulders gently and tells me that I am his best gal friend. We are always joking around and have a good time. He asked me if I prefer good looking or nice guys. I admit that I've fallen for him. Well he recentlly got a new girlfriend, yet still thinks it is acceptable to act this way with me. This got me upset and he did not understand why. I told him he has a girlfriend and needs to respect her and I. It kills me to see him with her while at the same time he is sending me mixed messages by behaving this way. He told me that he hates seeing me upset and grabbed and hugged me, but I pulled away. I am so lost as to what to do, I love him as a person and enjoy his friendship. But it's hard for me to be friends with the way he acts.

I think it is unacceptable for a guy in a relationship to act/do/say these things to another female. It's also breaking my heart more and more every day.

What should I do?

Do y'all agree his behavior is wrong?

I am a 'good girl' so I won't give as much as she is willing to give. I would do anything for him, but I won't do that. :(

He is a wonderful, genuine person other than this side of him.....

First of all, Your " friend" is not a friend regarding the touching etc..This is taking it a bit far. Maybe a nice guy, however, he may also know or have a sixth sense, that you are attracted to him. Watch out, It is not acceptable behavior. True friends don't act that way.!

I admire your attitude and morals. He is not the type of guy you want to have an exclusive relationship with. Listen to your instincts. If he will act this way while having a girlfriend, he will do the same if you were his girlfriend.

You are right. Be strict. Don't give him much, he will come back to you after he has eaten his full, with this other girl. However, continue to be friendly in conversation, jokes etc. but don't allow him to touch you or allow him to act physically disrespectful with you. Be patient.

Youre right. He should be loyal to her and he's not. He sounds too immature to be tied to one girl. He is also using you to feel good about himself. What he is doing is wrong and youre reactions are justified.
