Ok I know everyone is making him out to be this amazing player already despite the fact that he had statistics that were comparable to Bruce Gradkowski, but where was he during the last game of the season? A chance to go to the playoffs and he didnt show up at all, as a matter of fact he was absolutely pathetic. Just like he was against the Jags twice. Yeah he had some crazy things happen, he went 8-4 after taking over for Kerry Collins, but he had the second worst passer rating (65 or so), the WORST completion % (51%, shows his accuracy is awful), and he threw for more INT's than TD's. He failed to beat a team that i would dare to say had a good defense (Giants, Colts, Bills, Texans...terrible D's) and the only reason they won against the Jags was b/c of the D scoring all their TD's. Travis Henry/Chris Brown, their defense, and their ST's play was the reason they went 8-4, VY went along for the ride. Remember when Vick came out...same crap and now look, you realize he sucks.

Thank you...... He should be voted luckiest player in football history. He should have lost to the Giants on the 4th down sack. The Titans defense scored 3 TDs one game while he lead the offense to a field goal. He is just really lucky. Like the national championship game against USC. There were a number of questionable things in that game.

Vince Young will make a great quarterback. He's got a great coach and a young team that is just now starting to come on strong. Give him time. Even Peyton Manning had horrible season records his first couple of years.

Vince Young can move well. They need to work on his throwing, when to throw it and not to force it. That normally takes a quarterback about 1-2 years to learn. He's pretty similar to Steve McNair, but Young can move and run a lot better. Fisher isn't making the same mistake Atlanta did by trying to use mainly option plays. If you want to win in the NFL a pocket passer normally does the best. But having the flexibility for the quarterback to run from time to time makes the defense have to be prepared for both the run and pass, making it all that much harder on the other team's defense.

What vince Young has have little to do with football. like Troy Smith, he had to overcome some major personal obstacles to get to college.. Father's in prison and his mentors were his uncles and coaches. Mother is a recovering addict who found Jesus. Vince doesn't just try to lead he makes new paths. HE knows how to cope better than any quarterback that I have ever seen. At the Heisman when he lost, he got on his cell phone and called his teammates and said I lost so I guess we got to go out there and woop USC. The guys all wore short haircuts, clean shaven and were discipline. His spirits engulfs his teammates and his story ois jotivation enough. But make no mistake -- he was trined by the best Steve Mc Nair., Look at Baltimore's turn around. He has also been visiting Titans for sometime during their mini-camps. These kids don't just wake up and say I want to be great. It is a process not just a season. Vince was great in Jr High School, high School, College and he will change the game in football to fit his extraordinary talent.

STOP YOUR MOANING, GROANING, BITCHING AND WHINING! REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE TITANS DID AS A TEAM, VINCE YOUNG LEARNED ON THE RUN AND CAME THROUGH FOR THEM! SURE HE HAD A COUPLE OF BAD GAMES, BUT EVERYONE HAS A BAD GAME NOW AND THEN. BOTTOM LINE IS, HE'S A WINNER AND WILL GET BETTER WITH FULL SEASONS UNDER HIS BELT.

Exactly..he seems just ike another Vick..overhyped. Perhaps he will improve as time goes on. Can't believe the Dolphins actually gave Vicks brother a shot at the big leagues.
