why is it o k for the new york times to leak state secrets but if someone else gets the story its a crime?

The New York Times gets away with so much because of who they are. Just like if a smaller publication constantly put out inaccurate garbage like many Times stories, they'd be out of business. Not so with the Times. Remember Jayson Blair?

Because New York Times is owned by an American company. There is freedom of speech in America !!!
