you need to see a doctor. When you say 'extremely', what do you mean? Also, there are BP meds that are fairly cheap. You are risking so much. Go and ask your doctor for less expensive meds. Thiazide's and other generic meds are available, so it's no excuse. Lay off the salt, stop the alcohol, stay hydrated, exercise, and don't ignore this problem.

Yes it can be, but most cases of pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure happen later in pregnancy. I am 10 weeks pregnant and just finally do not have a headache anymore. It lasted 9 days straight. I do have a sinus cold now. I too got dizzy as a result, I think, of hormones and not drinking or eating enough. I would not worry yet, but definitely something to mention to your doctor.

first off.. you have got to take your meds... talk to your doc about programs available that can reduce the cost of meds by a whole lot.. and now with walmart offering some meds for 4 dollars a 30 day supply you really need to get back on the meds.. yes high blood pressure can mess up alot of things, 1 of which can be the "monthly visitor"

It is important that you get onto medication to regulate the high blood pressure. High BP is called 'the silent killer', because you cannot feel the effects of high BP, until it is too late. I am on BP medication, and spending money on this now is better than having to deal with the damage it does later on. Look into finding the cheapest generic BP medication available. Lots of people have this problem, so the answer is out there. As others have said, dont ignore the problem.

i recommend u go to family planning. u can get free birth control pills there which will help regulate ur periods... usualy when u lose ur periods.. its due to a few things... one pregancy.. which u say ur not.. 2. if ur extremely under wieght.. women will lose their periods.. i cant remember the name.. but this will happen.
3. stress.. which does cause high blood pessure.. which will also make ur periods irregular.
get urself to family planning. they will help u out. best of wishes!
