I'm not entirely sure what you asking but from what I do understand by your question you could argue that in a way we as humans do have our minds controlled to some extent!! Advertisers use strategies to make us believe that their product is better than another, even social influence and conformity are subtle forms of control. For instance, society teaches us to behave in ways that is the norm and we adhere to those norms because of soceity's norm that we want to be liked and accepted by others. In my opinion that is a subtle form of mind control. We are not always entirely free to do what we want even if we think we are!!

Yes I do. I think its a common phenomenon. The media in particular is so self referent and controlling - I don't own a T.V and when I do catch sight of it on holiday at a friends house I am amazed at the contorted controls, you have to know who all these celebrities are in order to understand the code and be 'in'. I sometimes have to switch off the radio when the presenters are trying to sell me a way to think or to feel about something - usually politics and usually in a slurring blurred way that some politician is a 'bad' person. I think mind manipulation is a fact of life, how many times a day do you experience someone trying to get you to think in a particular way?
Even at a minimalist level - 'Its a nice day isnt it!'

Do we believe in it? I personally do not get into believing in it - NO

or

Is your question to readers: Do we believe it happens? Yes I think it happens to some people more than others.

Easy solution: Don't fall for the idea that there is no right from wrong and learn what "projection" is...not everybody is going to give sound advice...it's called peer pressure(temptation) no matter what the age it's part of life. Pray for strength, guidance, and wisdom and accept responsibility for personal decisions good or bad. Know that we all have the Holy Spirit within us...some call it intuition...others call it a little bird and decisions shouldn't always come from someone else's little bird(advice) including media. These are things I choose to exercise everyday in my life.

Children/teens accept your parents loving guidance and exercise your rights to learn the three Rs in school because sadly, kids are prime targets for mind control. The sales pitch to this age group is "trust us not your parents"...that is confusing better to stick to your roots. Parents have a job called raising their children and children/teens have a job called growing up...both are important jobs. Teachers have a job called giving a student an education and students have a job called learning...both jobs are important. Teachers do not have the right to intrude on a students culture concerning parent/child relationship. Accept parents loving support in all aspects of your life and if your struggling with a hard issue talk talk talk to the parents and know that prayer is always available. Treat life with respect...live ...love all but learn you don't have to live life on the edge....work on keeping an honest heart :)

Turn on the television, listen to radio, look at any billboard or magazine. All are extremely potent forms of mind-altering tactics. If people were as careful to allow images and words into their minds as they are what foods to eat, this would be a spectacular world, long ago. Instead, due to our blind consumption of the worthless fruits of clever and greedy social psychologists, we have the timid, obedient and sloppy crowds of today. There is no hope for mankind. None whatsoever.

In a way yes i can believe it because i'm sure my brother has been brainwashed by his wife. Its not necessarily controlling the mind completely but i'd say it was a small form of it.

Yes I do, but only by powers of persuassion, lots of people are controlled by other people, the controllers are stronger willed than the ones they are controlling.
It happens all the time in marriages.

what exactly do you mean? can you elaborate?

There are definitely ways by which people can use power dynamics to play with people's decisions, and their minds, so to speak.

Of course, witchcraft and practicing evil spells, black magic etc can affect other people especially people who dont know God. If there are people who are in a relationship with God, they have nothing to fear, because the Bible says, God is greater than the god of the world (satan).

Its happening right now, through the controlled mass media. Most people don't realise that its going on and that they are being subtly told what to believe.
