My favorite genre basically is fantasy/sci-fi/fiction/classics/biography but I mostly read everything except mostly poetry (for some reasons ;P) But some of my favorite authors include J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Oscar Wilde, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Dan Brown, Anne Rice, Amy Tan, Frank McCourt, J.K. Rowling, Homer Hickam, etc....

What are some of your favorite books/authors?

I like to read some books as listed in the web site below. For instance, 1984, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Tin Drum, The Stranger, etc. However, some are not in the list such as "The Cairo Trilogy" by Naguib Mahfouz, "A Suitable Boy" by Vikram Seth, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, etc.

Anything and everything as long as it's intelligent and interesting and especially if it's about Ancient Rome, English Literature, American History, World War II, Spain, scifi, and currently I'm getting into the American Civil War. Some faves are "Pompeii" by Robert Harris, "The Little Drummer Girl" & "The Constant Gardener" by John LeCarre, "A Painted House" by John Grisham, "The Hot Zone", "The Jesus I Never Knew" by Phillip Yancey, "Thief Of Time" by Terry Pratchett.

Robert Ludlum books are more for the adventerous type. Try the Boure Identity. If you watch this movie before then forget about it.

Sidney Sheldon books are amazing. I can't really remember which book I read. But it is just fabulous. He writes mostly abot hostages, politics, war and current issue. Get yourself up to date by reading his books.

I read a lot of things, but I tend to focus on fantasy/fiction books. I'm reading a lot of things by an amazing author right now, Neil Gaiman. If you have the chance, and like dark british humour, I would recommend him.

I do. I go through several books a week-- I think I spend a huge portion of my paycheck on books! ;)

I like anything from mindless chick-lit to intense murder mysteries. :)
