Definatly. I am at heart a loner. I love my own company and being around others too much makes me feel suffocated. Hence the reason i retract to my computer. I can ignore people without them getting offended and have my focus centred on what i want.

Yes and it's called being an "introvert" Google it and you'll get a few sites. The opposite is extrovert or extravert which is somebody that can't stand to be alone and will always try to be around people.

Hal yeah...I am disillusioned by people even though I know we can not be perfect. I have wonderful family and carefully selected friends but am generally over it when it comes to dealing with people. I spend alot of time on my own and with my children. In saying that I am not mean or even grumpy when I have to deal with others. I once told my good friend that I didn't like people in general and she said "me too".
