This has happened to me so many times in my life that I have almost stopped wishing for things. The most recent - I wished that I would meet some one and fall in love... I did only they are married - well there is more to it than that but I ain't going into it.

trust me... BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, IT MAY COME TRUE!

Right.
So, when we wish, like when visualizing, we need to add a qualifier, like, "for the highest good of all concerned". Having that awareness at the time we're creating the image aids in its coming to fruition in a harmonious and beneficial way. Well, that's the hope. This is why we are to use every manner of detailing possible when we visualize: imagine the sight, smell, weight, feel, sound, anything about the desired result, then, make it 'for the highest good of all involved'. It'll help. Try it & see . . .

I know it only too well!

I would always wish to be left alone, living in a house with 2 sisters and a brother used to leave me feeling like I had no peace & quiet!

Fast forward a couple of years & I've moved out, lost most of my friends & a boyfriend and I truly am alone. Suddenly you realise company wasn't so bad after all.

My sister is egocentric person. She always talk to loud and never listens anybody, and she started to get on my nerves. Once, she made me cry, and I told her that I wish her to get married soon, and get a child who will be the same as her.

She´s got married soon to a person who has a lack of nerves, and got a beautiful son, who is her copy. Now they together talk loud and not listening to each other.

I love my sister, and I didn´t want her to be unhappy, just to be careful with me.

Now, I think twice before I wish something. I released that every wish is coming true, even if you don´t want it anymore.

Yes - wishing for a grandchild. My daughter had a little girl and then her marriage broke down and they both moved in with me! Now I have a lovely granddaughter, but I also have all the sleepless nights and the general disruption that I had when my own children were babies. Not what I had in mind at all!

Yes. Wishing I was ill for some time off work then being uncontrollably ill for 6 weeks.

When you wish for something you make a decision which often comes to fruition as the sub-conscious works on it

about ten years ago, i had a falling out with a girl at school, as you do when you are 15.
Anyway she said "I wish you were dead!" and the next day I got hit by a car. When she found out she fainted with shock.
Needless to say, she never said that again, and I made sure not to annoy her-just in case!

it's all a mind thing...wishing for something so hard that after awhile it seems to come true is your mind believing in it that it seems to come true...this is not true in all cases, I've wished to win the lottery...every week...hum...maybe if I wish this in my every waking hour? Same is true with someone who tells a lie so often it becomes the truth because their mind has heard it that many times that it becomes the truth to them...I wish I would win the lottery, I wish I would win the lottery, I wish I would win the lottery

I learnt a long time ago to be really careful what I wish for. Its not bad to wish just more important to be careful what it is. Cos it just might come true..

I had a friend who wanted his band to get gigs in Tahoe hotels. He made his mantra "I want to work the hotels and get my hands on a lot of money."

Sure enough, within six months he was a change carrier at Harrah's.
